“I brought my trailer to Ted’s after I pulled out of the dock and knocked my door off. I called and worked with Suave. He was very helpful and accommodated my quick timeframe. They replaced 5 door hinges, repaired the door seals, straightened the lock bar and rehung the right side door. They also aligned both rear doors to close and seal properly. They had 2 mechanics on the job and had me back on the road in less than 2 hours. I highly recommend Ted’s for any repairs around Chicago.”

I want to recognize the awesome and extremely kind owners of Don Herman's Quality Service in Chicago, because without them, we would not have made it to our recent horse show destination from Wisconsin to Ohio! One of my worst nightmares has always been that I will have a vehicle breakdown in Chicago while pulling a horse trailer. We'll, IT HAPPENED! While in the middle of 6 lane traffic the brake caliper on the front passenger side of my van locked up. There was (obviously) nowhere to go right away as we were in some serious traffic with construction. By the time we could exit, the thing was smoking beyond belief and the interior of the van was HOT! We quickly looked at garages near us and reached JP at this garage. He was closing for the day but said that he would wait for us as we were traveling and he wanted to help. We did not, at this point, tell him that we had a trailer and a pony along. We limped our smoking vehicle to the garage where he and his Dad met us with a smile and reassuring nature. These men were wonderful! Once the van wheel cooled enough for him to get it apart and determine the problem, he quickly located a part and then spent the next hour chatting with us as if we were old friends, swapping stories, talking about movies and travel and generally putting us (mostly me) at ease. He met my po y, Phantom, and numerous times asked if we needed anything for him. After the repair was finished they gave us directions to get quickly and safely back to the highway. Like I said, sometimes super heros don't wear capes, sometimes they where t- shirts, have the tools and connections to fix a problem, and possess the biggest, kindest hearts and willingness to help complete strangers. My faith that there are still GOOD people out there has been restored. Not only will I forever be grateful, but I also will be willing and anxious to "pay it forward". I challenge everyone to consider doing the same!”

They test everything out and tell you what's important to fix and what can wait. There straight forward and tell you directly the issue or issues present. They let the customer decide what they want done. There all about loyalty and respect. If you go by them they treat you like family. They are fair and quick just as the name states. “What a great group of guys. Imagine this, I bought used Mercedes starter that had been custom programmed a year previously, on eBay from Florida. I had it shipped back to Chicago, reset to original settings, updated to the latest firmware and checked for contents in the box. Within a day of receiving it, they finished everything as promised and shipped it to me in Canada as if it was new. They didn’t have the correct Drone mobile unit for our 3G service, but gave me list of local suppliers in my area that I could buy it from. Everything worked perfectly, the online videos guided me to a tested and complete installation in 5 hours. Most of that was while I tried to figure out how to put the pieces back together, after I took them apart without taking photos along the way! Thank you very much. It’s working perfectly even at 20 below zero. Great product and even better service.”
