“Nice playground surface and equipment, but hard to cross busy street to get there. Beautiful pond that attracts geese and ducks. Covered picnic area. Large parking area. Soccer field, basketball court, multiple outdoor tennis courts. Toddler playground and one for older children. Extensive walking path. Summer day camp.”

“Amazing park! Big field and basketball courts, but as I was there with my 3 (nearing in on 4) year old, the playground was what really stood out. Stylistically it's similar to other parks in Evanston, but most everything is a little bit different in really innovative ways, there were a good half dozen things I saw that gave me pause to admire, like "wow, that's pretty cool!" My son was super entertained the entire time we were there, and if it was up to him I suspect we'd have had to camp there overnight!”

“Kelly Park aka Kelly tot lot is designed for the younger kids. Good swing selection with a variety of seat options. Padded playground area and small green spaces are good for hide-and-seeking. The large sandbox is quite popular here as local parents keep it stocked with toys. Features four benches and one picnic table for the adults. It's connected to Baker park with amenities for the bigger kids. As well as more playgrounds and a small pavilion with toilets and a drinking fountain in the summer months. Fun for all ages!”

“Students learn how to grow fresh, sustainable produce. They have many different sorts of produce, but beware, it's not for you to pick for personal consumption! It's also a great use of the often unused Norris South Lawn.”

“I really like this beach! There are water fountains but there is no bathroom though. You need a beach token to enter during the summer, but the view is beautiful and there are nice people around. You can run/jog/bike nicely on the path nearby and there are plenty of options to bbq.”

“Nice little park. Great place for a picnic or to go chill for a couple hours and read. Less popular than other parks along the lake because it doesn't have any beach access, but that's great on beautiful summer weekends.”
