“My husband was transferred to Lemont Rehab after having a stroke. He was a very difficult patient and was very rude to the staff. The staff maintained their professionalism and didn't take his behavior personally. I would apologize for his behavior and the staff were very caring and considerate and would tell me "Don't apologize. He is just frustrated with not being able to do the things he was able to do prior to the stroke." Therapy was fantastic and was able to get him to transfer with very little assistance. The nursing staff were very professional and caring. I had the option to take him to another facility but chose Lemont because of the recommendations of other family / friends with loved ones at the facility. The staff at Lemont deserve to be recognized for the professional caring manner in which they treat the residents. Everyone was friendly and greeted you with a hello and a smile. The room was always clean and the facility didn't have any odors. I would recommend Lemont to anybody needing rehab or nursing care, you couldn't ask for a better team of professionals. They keep you informed of what is going on with your loved one and will take the time to answer any questions you have.”
