(September 18, 2018, 5:52 pm)We hired the Chicago-based band "Mississippi Heat" for our fundraiser Barbecue and Blues by the River in Sioux City, Iowa. I can't tell you how wonderful the band was and how perfect they were for our event. We had so many compliments on what a terrific blues band they were! We hired a seven piece band that included both female singers. Wow!! What a sound!! When the lights got low, a circumstance that we attributed to the venue, the band didn't miss a note, even with very little light!! They are the real deal!!
