“I've been hanging at "da creek" now for years. The creek's cool and true to its name, it is a very winding & crooked creek. I wouldn't bring the kids though. I don't think there's much for youngins. Take them to the Little Red School House less than 10 min away. Nice pavilions too. Go to the western pavilion (closest to LaGrange Rd). It's the better one. Have fun WOOD RATS!”

“Beautiful and scenic place to walk, bike, jog, have a picnic, get married, or take the kids for a nature hike. They allow row boats to rent for fishing, or for a peaceful row on the lake...they have a mini waterfall, a butterfly garden, botanic garden, and community herb and vegetable garden. They also have a nature center that is just a bit smaller than the Little Red Schoolhouse and is perfect for smaller children to check out. They also allow wedding ceremonies and group functions to book there as well and do have a hall to hold receptions. All around excellent place!”
