(May 5, 2018, 8:43 pm)There was nice nature such as a snake, lots of birds, chipmunks, some skeletons, and the normal squirrels. My kids enjoyed exploring, but much of it is overgrown and the path all but disappears at times. The concrete is cracked and we ran into lots of thorns. Maybe it was a result of the time of year. We will probably be back and try another season. But don't count on an easy path.

(September 18, 2017, 8:02 pm)Largest black soil prairie east of the Mississippi. Of the prairies I have visited, this is one of the best with great diversity and minimal invasives. Development plans were abandoned after sidewalks were put in, making for nice paths.
