“This is a nice pool with diving board and and water slide sectioned off deep end and dive ends. The kiddie pool area has a mini waterside, Topsy Turney drench buckets, and pressure spots from the ground. Plenty of lawn chairs and picnic tables, bathrooms and changing rooms available.”

“Newer park with lots of colorful play areas that encourage balance training (core). I find it great for small kids or a workout for the whole family. Next to it there is a field where some kids had soccer class. You can walk around the field, bike or roller skate. Another convenience is the Mariano's store, where you can buy food or snacks and eat outside at the tables in the sheltered area. Have fun and be safe!”

“I found this park to be amazing. If you like nature, walking, biking, sand volleyball, baseball or softball, kid playgrounds, family or group picnics, basketball, skateboarding, fishing this place has it all. Just a lap around the 12 acre lake will give you 5000 to 6000 steps. The nature is beautiful and it ties into McCarthy Park and Tinley Junction so there are also batting cages, miniature golf, concession stand and plenty of places to gather. If you haven't checked this place out, you should definitely do so.”

“It's a beautiful spot! The fountain is breathtaking with a fantastic view of the skyline behind it. The park area surrounding it is just as beautiful. I never realized there was a small rose garden before the fountain. Definitely a sight worth seeing, and great backdrop for portraits/photography shoots. Definitely a must visit if you’re downtown Chicago in the summer! It’s a huge open platform area with a huge fountain in the middle that is just the perfect, beautiful place on a hot summer day. It’s very huge and just beautiful and when the wind blows, you get the mist on your face and it feels so good. Sometimes they play beautiful classical music there and you feels so grand with the beautiful music and the huge fountain! It’s right across the street from the lake so from there I’d recommend to cross the street and take a walk along the lake to the shed aquarium or to navy pier. The fountain is definitely one of my favorite summer spots in Chicago. In the evening it even light up with all these different color and looks so cool!”

“My favorite woods in the Buffalo Grove area. The trial starting from Potawatomi woods cover 30 miles. Trial follows the Des plaines river. Small streams join the river along the way, if lucky you can spot deers. Ample car parking, there is a shed( which you can book ahead of time) for organizing party. This woods look beautiful year around, and keep visiting across seasons to see it’s different shades. There are some good fishing spots as well. One of the best spots in Chicago for Fall photography.”
