“Great check in experience. Mark was very helpful with my complicated check-in and combining two reservations for two rooms each due to an unexpected extension of my trip. The breakfast buffet is above average for this class of hotel. A convenience store is located nearby, as well as a Cracker Barrel and two fast food locations. The hotel is extremely convenient to Interstate 55. An hour to the city, half an hour-ish from Midway.”

“As a couple who are both Military Veterans, we prefer to patronize businesses that offer a military discounts. LaQuinta ,did offer us a discount the equivalent of near $10 they let us check in with our 2 dogs and no Outrageous pet fees. Which was appreciated The Room was clean acceptable although had no fridge or microwave the essentials were covered”

“I almost didn’t stay here because of the reviews so I want to leave an updated one so people can know what’s currently happening there. If u need a place to stay that’s clean and safe (bonus: beautiful) and probably one of the closest to Chicago, this is your place. The road there is a pretty smooth country road, nothing bumpy like other posts say. I gave it 4 stars because the lady in the office is a little strange and she got into a little argument with an employee right in front of me. It’s a quick and easy drive into Chicago (40 minutes with good traffic).”

“This was a great place to stay. The first week I stayed (I was there almost for two) I got a great price because of a special they were running. The second week cost a little more, which was fine. I don’t think I have one negative thing to say: staff was friendly and helpful; rooms were more than adequate. My particular room was near the interstate so the cars were going by almost all the time but it never bothered me. I recommend this place highly.”

“I stayed in there a couple of nights when I was in the pads homeless shelter I paid $95 for two days that was a blessing I know from the highest you can catch some pretty good deals there I forgot my cup there and my shoes and when I came back they still have my shoes they told me they would keep him and no one will get them but me thank the Lord for that he was able to use them for me to get my shoes back and my cup I just got the car and the shoes were brand-new a church bottom for me so I didn't want to lose them that bought them for me to go to work”

“This is a fun, little place. It had a neat outdoor play area for the kids, some nice hiking areas, and a sledding hill. The trails are not overly extensive, but for what they are offering it's good. The also offer camping. I haven't camped here yet, but there are a number of sites, and it looks like you have to carry your stuff to most of them.”
