“I've always loved this park and they've made some serious upgrades in the past few years. I'll miss the tank that we used to play on as kids but I DO understand why they'd remove it. I only gave it four stars because the equipment that replaced the stuff they used to have is massively inferior. It MAY be safer but nowhere near as fun or stimulating to imaginations.”

“Clean and decently spaced. The huge speed bumps are an annoyance and not necessary as it is a small area. We even filled our propane on sight. We didn't use the pool or bath facilities. TERRIBLE mosquitoes.”

“2016: Beautiful, with diverse activities. Updated 2021: This park gets better every year. It has grown with our baby (now 4 years old). Love the variety of activities for kids. Lots of shade too! Public restroom and water fountain available. Splash pad is so refreshing on a hot summer day!”

“This is a nice pool with diving board and and water slide sectioned off deep end and dive ends. The kiddie pool area has a mini waterside, Topsy Turney drench buckets, and pressure spots from the ground. Plenty of lawn chairs and picnic tables, bathrooms and changing rooms available.”

“My friend just moved into the neighborhood. Everyone seems very nice and friendly and waved to me as I rode my bike down the street. I asked these two kindly old gentleman for directions to Bellaire drive and they were happy to help. A lot of children playing and bicycle riders but the traffic seemed to go slow and be mindful of the playing children.”

“Newer park with lots of colorful play areas that encourage balance training (core). I find it great for small kids or a workout for the whole family. Next to it there is a field where some kids had soccer class. You can walk around the field, bike or roller skate. Another convenience is the Mariano's store, where you can buy food or snacks and eat outside at the tables in the sheltered area. Have fun and be safe!”

“I found this park to be amazing. If you like nature, walking, biking, sand volleyball, baseball or softball, kid playgrounds, family or group picnics, basketball, skateboarding, fishing this place has it all. Just a lap around the 12 acre lake will give you 5000 to 6000 steps. The nature is beautiful and it ties into McCarthy Park and Tinley Junction so there are also batting cages, miniature golf, concession stand and plenty of places to gather. If you haven't checked this place out, you should definitely do so.”
