“We have two 11-year old male Havanese, one of which our previous groomer wouldn't groom because he had just been diagnosed with a heart problem. We asked our vet for suggestions and she referred us to Dan saying "he is really good with 'special needs' dogs". When I picked them up after grooming they acted like they were coming home from a party and their puppy cuts were just spectacular. No groomer anywhere has ever come close to what Dan accomplished today. Too bad there are only 5 stars!”

As soon as my wife walked in she was greeted by Leslie, who then proceeded to help my wife find frames for my child who was not present at the moment and first pair Leslie picked out without seeing my child fit like a charm! My wife then expressed that our child has some health issues and was concerned to bring my child into store and Leslie went above and beyond and asked her managers if it was okay to step out to our car and make sure everything would fit my son perfect. I cant thank you guys enough for this, Leslie didnt have to do that for us and choose to, Thank you for hiring very nice people.”

“Happened to find this place by chance while wandering Wrigglyville on a non game day. This place is a real treasure. It's like stepping back in time. Packed floor to ceiling with gems from the past. Newspapers, photos, books, ball cards and relics beyond anything you could imagine. We had a beautiful conversation with a gentleman named Neil. He shared stories of his past, Chicago and the store. The 10 minutes or so we spent talking are something I will remember forever. I hope locals appreciate what a magnificent piece of the city this is. Neil if you happen to read this, thank you. Drop the trailer and go do my 10 hour break and pick it up. The guard shack has some good ppl working there. They have empathy, and that’s important.”
