“I will never use another appliance company ever again. We moved to Ft. Wayne last week from Bellingham, MA to a house that desperately needed appliances. Instead of going to a big box store, I thought I’d try a local place. Elwood’s was about ten minutes away, and had good reviews, so I gave it a shot. I was met by Mike, who was extremely personable, knowledgeable, and refreshingly honest. He gave me a run down of the inventory, and informed me that a new order would be arriving in a few days. I told him that I would return then. When I returned (yesterday), there was indeed more stock, but I was happy selecting what I had my heart set on earlier. I was once again helped by Mike and two younger men who were brothers. The purchasing process was smooth and the price was UNBEATABLE. They informed me that the three appliances would be delivered within 24 hours, and for only $50! I was beside myself. Today came, and I received a call that they could deliver the appliances two hours earlier. They showed up, moved the appliances, and installed them quickly. That included hooking up the gas stove, the range microwave, and almost hooking up the water line to the fridge (I had plumbing issues that need fixing). The owner himself came by and assisted in the installation process. Overall, I give them 5/5 stars, due to pricing, personality, and promptness. Top notch ownership, management, and employees. They exemplify the way every business should be operated. My wife and I are very pleased, and have become Elwood’s customers for life!”

“Came in here on a Thursday night just a few minutes before closing. They told me it was going to take around 15 minutes to change all 4 tires on my car. I also had a truck there at the same time - since I planned to drop off the car. I was so impressed with the price and service that I decided to change all 4 tires on the truck the same night. They had me done in around 30 minutes for both vehicles. I’m used to waiting forever for tire changes and was happy to take care of things so quickly. There also helped check my tire pressure monitors and quoted a very good price to replace the two that have gone out. I’ll be returning to take care of those. The truck needs an alignment. Though they don’t do alignments, they provided me with a coupon to get it taken care of. I believe the service includes free tire rotations, balances, and road hazard for the life of the tires.”
