“Almost a five. No microwave. No freezer in fridge, which I see occasionally at places. A little bit noisy. Breakfast (individually packaged stuff) was great. Internet connectivity great. Room comfort, AC, shower, etc were great. Social distance controlled by tables at front desk, signs (like mask required and one family group per elevator, etc), posted around. Would stay here again.”

“The entire staff is very kind, thoughtful and caring. They keep everywhere so clean and they have the cleanest laundry room l have seen in any hotel. Cassie, Viki all the front desk staff and house keeping staff are awesome. Thanks to you all for making my stay enjoyable. Please keep up the good work.”

“I went to play the slots. I lost at first. I tried other machines and left happy. This doesn't happen frequently, but if you have some fun, it was a good time. There were not many patrons so I could play a variety of machines. The hotel is not open yet.”

“This hotel was excellent, especially for the price. The AC was turned on for us and the room was nice and cool when we came in late at night. Everything was clean. All of us slept well, which is rare for our family. My son also loved the little bench over the air conditioner. Also, the late night front desk employee was wonderful. ?”

“Would like to say the staff and management went above and beyond to help us in an emergency. Our air went out in our home and couldn't get it fixed for a couple of days. We were worried about finding a place to stay with our service dogs but they welcomed us with open arms to help us with no hesitation. If we ever need to stay in a hotel again we will definitely be staying at the Best Western. Thanks again from the Barnhouse Family.”

“I've been here almost 5 years. It's a nice, quiet (besides the trains), safe neighborhood. Neighbors are friendly and social. Managers are friendly and easy to get along with. It's not your "traditional" trailer park, unless you include my pink flamingos. Lol”

“Nicely renovated rooms with comfortable beds. We travel alot for work and needs these things to be top notch. The pool was open and well maintained. The neighboring restaurants were a quick 4 minute walk away and had everything we needed. Quick complimentary shuttle was available to and from the airport. Breakfast was decent... Nothing extravagant but checked all the basic boxes. We'll definitely stay again when we're in town.”

“This place is chill. They are starting to remodel and that’s cool because we get to have beautiful, new rooms to stay in. I certainly hope this generation of entitled people will treat them nicely. The rooms are bare bones and that’s perfect for me. I don’t need to pay the extra 20-30$ for a coffee maker I’ll never use and a blow dryer that will collect dust. The front desk ladies are awesome!! Well, the younger ones are. They are funny and engaging. They are helpful and seem to actually remember who you are and genuinely care about your return business. Honestly though, and I don’t mean to be snarky, but the two older ladies should think about retiring. The older overnight lady is flat out rude, she takes forever to do her job, if she does it at all. (I’ve had to wake her up once, so it’s probably not the first time). The other older lady (who works the day shift since the place opened in 1972) is getting just as bad. Every time I walk in the lobby she’s sitting down in the chair and it seems to me that she might be happier doing something where she doesn’t have to bothered to stand up. I wish they had the pool open, but I probably wouldn’t swim anyway if I’m being honest, because I don’t swim in any public pools. I just like hanging on the patio in the sun. It’s really convenient that they accept dogs and terribly inconvenient that the guests don’t pick up after their own animals. The dog poop is gross. I completely understand this is not the motel’s fault and it is solely the lazy dog owners lack of respect. I stay here when I’m driving through because it’s located right off the highway and it’s surrounded by a plethora of places to eat. Although, Council Bluffs in general isn’t a tourist destination, the places to see are all really close. I will continue to stay here and look forward to the new look of the rooms! And, maybe fresh faces at the desk?”

“I just signed my papers to own my own home here, they helped us so much along the way and kept us updated at all times with anything going on before signing all closing documents, if you are looking to own or rent a home I would absolutely recommend this community! Right now they dont because of covid but I kmow when things are normal they do community things for the kids of the community!”
