I am so happy that I reached out to Mary Ann. After the death of my husband, I was rather lost as to what to do with the rest of my life. I rushed into a relationship which was too soon for me and my friend. With Mary Ann's help, I am more able to understand myself and to see that, hey, I'm a good person! She is very professional and yet so personable! I know if I need help again, she will be understanding and helpful!

Mrs.Adams is an excellent counselor. I felt that I could share with her without being judged. She was empathetic but made me own my responsibility for my situation as well. Mrs. Adams gave great, practical advice that I could follow through with. I would highly recommend her.

The first thing that put me at ease with Mary Ann is that I did not feel I was being judged. I share what is on my mind, and her response is empathetic and helps me feel validated. While she maintains professional therapist/patient decorum, it feels like I am talking to a friend who truly cares about me and wants me to feel better.

The strategies she suggests I use to manage/cope with issues are practical and realistic – things I will actually do – which is incredibly helpful.

I'm having a rough time with solitude during the pandemic. I found it helpful to share what I was feeling with someone else. My counselor was a wonderful listener and very patient.
