“I received my first (of four) chemo treatments today. I don’t want to write too much, I don’t want to loose your attention. Read on please. Dr. Raghavan saw me as I was walking to a treatment area. I told him I was “really scared.” He professionally put his hand on my shoulder, patted my arm and gave the warm and sincere comforting I needed to hear from my doctor. He told me I would not feel bad today and that they were giving me all the medications I would need to keep me from feeling too nauseated tomorrow or the next day. He looked straight at me. He smiled a genuine and warm smile. I chose this man as my oncologist because he saved my dear friend from Cancer 6 times. I chose this man as my oncologist because every time I mentioned his name to another professional I received nothing but genuine positive comments. I chose this man for his background and good work. I chose this physician for the way he speaks to his staff and other co-workers. I am an RN. I am a Cancer patient. I am recommending Dr. Raghavan with all of my heart because we are all really scared when we are diagnosed with Cancer.”
