“I have to say, I was nervous about us living in the Louisville area and traveling instead to a very small town hospital to have my daughter’s 3 foot surgeries. But Dr. David Hamilton had been highly recommended to my daughter almost 2 years ago when her pain got pretty extreme. God definitely led my daughter to Dr. Hamilton, and this was by far the best decision to have her surgeries at Bourbon Community Hospital. EVERY SINGLE nurse, doctor and employee at Bourbon Community Hospital were amazing. Not only were they genuinely kind and compassionate...they were extremely professional and qualified. I cannot praise them enough. And my gosh, Dr. Hamilton knows his stuff, and his level of compassion and concern for his patients and their health is superb. During my daughter’s 4 hours of surgeries, the surgical nurse came out and gave me an update 3 times, and Dr. Hamilton called me twice himself to update me. The anesthesiologist was also wonderful, along with the entire nursing staff. I drove a total of 3 hours today and was gone for over 12 hours, but I was so impressed with this hospital and staff that I had to write my review immediately. Thank you again to the entire staff for being so amazing to this anxious Momma. You are so appreciated.”

“This was one of the first and only times I can honestly say I had an amazing experience at the dentist. I was a little worried as usual when going to a new place but I was really surprised. My appointment was perfectly scheduled so I had enough time for a cleaning AND I was able to get X-rays and a filling done the same day. Everyone was beyond nice on top of the place being clean and very obviously sanitized. Everyone I met with happily greeted me. I felt well informed and calm during everything. “I went to the dentist 3 weeks ago after a chipped tooth and a filling camE out. He told me my tooth had an infection and exposed nerve and was above his expertises so he gave me a referral. He never gave me anything for pain or the infection. Because of covid the oral surgeon was booked until 3 weeks out and I suffered for 3 weeks. The infection spread to my jaw, gum and entire right side of my mouth. He was shocked I didn’t get antibiotics at the dentist or pain meds at the previous dentist but he properly drained and treated the infection and prescribe meds. He even billed my health insurance along side my dental because the issue was health related as well. The point I’m trying to make is why do Black Women not get taken seriously when we are in pain? The infection has spread to my throat and I thought I had strep with a runny nose and yet I had to go to a specialist to get proper treatment. If you have a referral I highly recommend Dr. Mills at Kentuckiana Oral Facial Surgery in Mount Washington.”

He’s not going to feed you any BS or try and do any extraneous procedures so he can bill your insurance. It’s a cozy, welcoming environment and it’s exactly what I was looking for.
