“Perfect 3 mile loop & more trails within the park if your feeling adventurous. Perfect for hiking, trail running, & biking. Can’t beat the views along Patapsco river & cool breeze under the bridge. The mystic ruins are like Easter eggs throughout the trail. You get a bit of everything on this nature walk. Best of all it’s completely descreet!”

“I suggest to anyone who is swinging by Ellicott City to go here. Special place, rich in history, very moving and great place for children. Very tactile historical and educational experience in particular for kids.”

“Beautiful park with lots of things for little ones to do! Swings, slides, things to climb on, even a basketball court! It's surrounded by a nice neighborhood and beautiful trees! The only downside is there's no public restroom! :-)”

“Love the park. Great place to take kids. The playground is great. They also have a small area kids can play at the small nature center as well as nature programs. There are lots of very nice pavilions for picnics and family or group gatherings as well as camping and hiking and biking trails. It's a beautiful place.”

“The important thing is if you check in after sunset when the gates close you will need to call the park for someone to come and open the gate for you. We had to do that and the park staff was prompt in reacting to our request. Rustic cabin 284 was clean and nice. Shower was less than 2mins walk from the cabin and was also clean. Shower felt a little clumsy but was not too bad for a couple of days. We were very impressed to see how the camp site itself was so clean and well maintained. Camp host was very nice and made us comfortable. They had a 30 min event on a Saturday night. There were lots of trails around but me and my wife left they could have done a better job in marking the trail path to guide hikers. Though the trail around the lake was nice and straight forward and was fun! We are coming back to this park soon!!”
