  Never a dull workout! Coach Dave and Amanda always take the time to explain every movement, and they really get to know their members. There are scaled and advanced movements so everyone gets the WOD they can handle - yet still challenging. There is also great camaraderie with the members which is just another reason to want to go to the box!

  CrossFit Frederick is everything you hope to find in a CrossFit box. At first I was a little hesitant when I didn't see any racks for squats on the rig but they have squat racks available and absolutely everything needed to make the perfect workout.
  The facility is huge and leaves plenty of room for a very big class but the coaches take equally as much time with every single member especially visitors. The drop in deal is amazing and I left with a wonderful T shirt as a token of my hard work. The owners also are astoundingly nice, very hands on and take every measure to make sure you enjoy your visit and become part of the family =]
  If I lived in Frederick this box would be probably be my go to but absolutely love dropping into this box ESPECIALLY for holiday workouts. Get ready for those WOD's, you'll never forget them =]

  I really miss this place!
  I found Crossfit Frederick while working briefly in MD. This is an amazing box. Amanda and Dave are extremely knowledgeable. I loved the fact we warmed up, and did mobility up as a group before they taught everyone the proper movements for the days workout. This was instrumental in preventing injuries. It was also extremely clean!! I returned back to TX and have yet to find a box as good as this one. I would highly recommend them.

  I am 53 and was in a workout rut and was tired of the same old daily workout routine (bench, curls, yadda, yadda, yadda). I was looking for a change and thought I would give CrossFit Frederick a try. Very frankly, I went into this very cautiously thinking it may be too much for my knees after having knee surgeries many years ago and also having bad shoulders. However, on the contrary, I was hooked from the start and my knees and shoulders actually feel better/stronger. I do struggle with many of the power lifting movements, but that's to be expected in the beginning and I'm getting stronger over time. The owners, Dave and Amanda, are awesome. Very knowledgeable and supportive. They also know how to get the best out of you, but are always looking out for your best interest. I know this may sound crazy to some of you, but I actually get excited to get up at 4:20am every morning (when I'm not traveling for work) to get to the "box" for the 5am WOD (Workout of the Day). It doesn't matter if you can squat $400lbs or barley do an air squat, you can enjoy what CrossFit has to offer.
