  My stepson gave her 16-year-old daughter a 2009 Volvo C70 that had not been driven in over a year. One short test drive told me there were some serious issues with the car. It squeaked and wobbled and ran rough. So before I'd let my granddaughter behind the wheel I wanted a bumper-to-bumper inspection. I did my research and found out that University Auto was a family-owned business that specializes in Volvos. So I called, scheduled an appointment, and dropped it off.
  
  Everyone I met and talked to were extremely friendly and helpful.
  
  The owner, Jenny, called me and patiently walked me through all the recommended repairs. It was a long list, as I knew it would be. But there were no real surprises. It was expensive but within the range I expected.
  
  I told her to go ahead and do the work. I paid for parts up front.
  
  Less than a week later I had the car back and it's running great. My granddaughter loves driving it. And I'm confident that the car is safe to drive.
  
  Just so you know, they don't sell tires or do front end alignments. I had that work done elsewhere.

  Everyone at University Auto is super friendly. I'm always confident that their getting the job done. Always transparent with the needs of my vehicle.

  I brought my vehicle to University Auto for what I thought was a larger problem that turned out to be much less of an issue. The mechanics were honest and up front about what did and did not need to be done. Jenny was great, and my loaner was a much beloved vehicle with a whopping 540,000 miles on it, which was a credit to the mechanics here that keep it going. Great shop.

  A great family owned company who treat you like a longtime friend. Their labor and part prices are fair, their customer service is professional and positive, they love their Volvos (plus any car you need fixed), and take care of their customers so both the car and the relationship last. I highly recommend them.
