“We always have fun here!!! Bring a few snacks and some water and your set for hours. They have port-a-potties here that are always kept in great shape(as far as port-a-potties go). There's a little "beach" in low tide, a dock to fish off of, a place to load your boat in the water and all along the water are huge boulders you can also fish off of. Its got to be one of the best parks my kids and I frequent weekly sometimes a few times a week.”

“The definition of peace and tranquility. The views are spectacular and the wildlife are plentiful. The area is well maintained and the people are very friendly. If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, I would suggest this area as the best I have been to. It is hard to leave there when I go there. The area also has great places to eat with a view of the water almost anywhere you decide to go. I would recommend visiting here to anyone who asks.”

“Super quiet, primitive campground for DOD personnel. There are campsites with picnic tables and stone fire rings. There are pavilions with picnic tables, and a couple of small charcole grills. There is a playground and a boat ramp. There are no showers; but, there is a portapot. The campground is very clean and quiet.”

“I love to take my dogs here for a good run. It's been awesome going here for a trail walk since it's short and easy. Sadly it's been a wile that this area received attention. I will love if the pertinent department update the area. My favorite time to go is winter and spring. Summer and fall is too muddy and humid. And don't forget the mosquitoes love humid.”
