UPDATE: The Branch owner saw my review and called me to make things right. He was very helpful and understanding. He agreed with me that I was overcharged for the service performed and offered a full refund. He also explained what SHOULD have been done by the tech and assured me that the tech would be trained on how to handle matters properly In the future. So the following testimony is what happened, but according to the branch owner and many other customer reviews this is not their typical practice. The phone call and refund meant a lot and says a lot about this company. After all, no one is perfect and people make mistakes, but it’s how you own up to those mistakes and the actions you take to make things right that defines character. I will definitely call them again in the future.
I called about a blockage in my main sewer line. I was told there’d be a $59 service fee. The guy was there for less than an hour, never resolved my issue, told me I had to replace my sewer line. However, his idea for how to do it wouldn’t have worked as it would have excluded several plumbing fixtures that were tied in under a concrete floor. He told me he’d be there Monday to replace the pipe and when I told him I only wanted an estimate so I could shop around, he gave me a bill for $334 for the “service” performed that day. He said there was a $275 charge for scoping the line, which I wasn’t there for and he never took pictures. Also, it’s been almost a week and I still haven’t gotten an estimate.
