“Some of the equipment is older. But they also have a new area. The kids care is farther put than I'd like but my son loves it there. Its organized. They do a great job of listing classes for the month.”

“This wall climbing place is decked out with an in store shop, new tech, and locker room as well as a large climbing area and gym. The staff are extremely helpful. There are also complimentary accessories at the front desk available upon request, such as climbing tape and moisturizer for roughed hands. Everything has an urban and techy feel to it, and they offer large group gatherings as well.”

“My main workout facility when in B-more. Just like every other planet fitness, all their equipment is well maintained and ready for use. The tanning and hydromassage beds are included in my $20 monthly membership. My membership is good at any planet fitness in any other state, which is awesome considering how often I travel. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. One star deduction for not having a stand up tanning bed at this location.”

“Calver MMA is great! The instructors are friendly and patient. They take time to explain and demonstrate the techniques. And then monitor the students as they implement them, ensuring proper form. My son really enjoys going to class. We've tried other martial arts, and this by far has been our best experience.”

“My daughter wanted to take gymnastics. She is 10 years old and had no skill set in this area. If you go in with realistic expectations I think you will be pleasantly surprised. She goes once a week and has just finished her 5th month. The whole family goes to watch her and she loves the exercise. Is she learning Olympic level gymnastics? No. She isn't ready for that anyway. She is strengthening her core, learning how to balance and gaining control of her body. Thats what the starter program is. Its $100 a month for the first month. $75 a month after that. Very reasonable for the attention she gets per 1 hour session. You have 3 days to choose from. 5 session times in all. You can't beat that. She can go to any session, once per week and if she misses a week, she just makes it up at another session the following week. Its very low maintenance. If the parents actually watch the instruction, most things you can work on at home just like you would throwing or kicking a ball with your child for other sports. The instructors are all excellent. My daughter has had Paula, Jasmine and Sarah and loves them all. Paula, her favorite, is leaving but we look forward to her being able to work with the other instructors going forward as each one brings a unique skill set to the training sessions. She may not become a gymnast, and probably doesn't want to be one. But the strengthening exercises and body control she is learning will help her excel in whatever sports she chooses in the future. What I as a parent like is...kids are only kids for so long and there is no pushing to make your child compete. She loves what shes doing so as a parent I love what is being offered. The child to instructor ratio is usually 4 to 1 or better. Again, you can't beat that. I highly recommend.”

“Love this gym, has everything you need, it's local, and it's not filled with a bunch of people just sitting around on the machines doing nothing. So glad that I left my old gym and took a shot hete.”
