  We had been contemplating a cruise in Africa over the past 2+ years. When we found the right itinerary (Cate Town to Mahe), we then thought about incorporating a safari. We didn't want a 1-day "land excursion" offered by the Cruise company, but instead, something of substance that would leave a lasting impression. Working with Nandi, Dierctor of Sales, we created a personalized / customized, private itinerary with Proud African Safaris ... 8 days including stays at 4 beautiful lodges. We visited the Lake Manyara National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Ndutu Woodlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and Serengeti National Park.
  
  Our Uber Guide & Naturalist, Adam Meshallu, was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Tanzania, the native tribes, the animals, birds and plant life which made for a rewarding experience. All permits, passes and our flight back to Arusha from the Serengeti Air Strip, were arranged before our arrival, and Zubeda Mukunde (Director Office Operations in Tanzania) , met our late arriving flight from Nairobi with a smiling face and a bouquet of roses for my wife.
  
  I am an amateur photographer. Adam's ability to anticipate, read and interpret a setting gave us great insights into the behavior and traits of the animals, and, thousands of great photos. He does not rely on the CB radios other safari companies are using to find animals. We saw ALL the animals including a short glimpse of a rare Black Rhino without the pressure from other Safari vehicles jockeying for a better view. He also prepared wonderful breakfast picnics for our early morning game drives as well as sumptuous lunch picnics under acacia trees.
  
  Our cruise was excellent ... our Safari with Proud African Safaris made the entire 5-week African adventure the trip of my lifetime.

  Trip of a lifetime, the way Proud African Safaris planned our itinerary could not have been better, I did not have to lift a finger and I saw the most amazing things, ate the best food, and learned from the best guides.

  Proud African Safaris did an amazing job with our trip! Everything was arranged for us, from the pickup at the airport to the drop off at the airport at the end of the trip. Accommodations they set up for us were great - you wouldn't even think that we were necessary out in the middle of savanna. They did everything they could to show us what we wanted. We saw cheetah kills, baby cheetah cubs hidden in the grass, wildebeest migrations, and so much more! We had an amazing time and the guides were so knowledgeable and accommodating. We definitely recommend these guys if you're looking to go Africa!

  Amazing. Went on this safari this June and had an absolute wonderful experience. You'll find nothing like it. Truly spectacular sights. I've never traveled to somewhere as unique as Tanzania, Africa and Proud African Safaris set up a life changing trip. The guide was very experienced and didn't let us down. Thank you again.

  This was our third safari in Africa but our first with Proud African Safaris. Our first two trips left us with a nagging feeling of missed opportunities. But not with Proud African Safaris! From the day long, action packed game drives to the impeccable, personalized service and first class accommodations, from the magnificent scenery and photo ops to all the warm, wonderful people we met along the way, each and every moment will be treasured. Nothing was left out; nothing left to chance. We could not have been better taken care of or more pleased and full of gratitude.
