Museum

“It was neat to stop by and see a replica of a cargo ship that was built in Salem. It is under construction now. There is a park ranger that lets a certain number of people on the ship at a time. Pretty everything inside was under construction but it was still fun to go in and take a walk around.”

“Unfortunately the tours were booked, but I expected that since it was so close to Halloween. I went the day before Halloween to view the house and get pictures which was perfect since almost no one was there. Drove by again on Halloween day and it was packed! It’s very architecture speaks of literary, biographical, and cultural values that inform the early history of colonial America and the special role Salem plays its Puritan and literary origins.
