“I used to be a hard core martial arts student. I loved studying Karate and Tae Kwon Do. Eventually, injuries forced me to quit those arts and look for something that might help me heal. I'd always heard that Tai Chi was supposed to be good for your health and so I gave it a try. Over the years it's done exactly what it is advertised to do, it's improved my overall health. Injuries to my knees and hips have slowly healed. My back doesn't hurt as much as it used to. My sleeping has improved. I feel less tired and I have more energy throughout the day. It's been a really cool process to watch as bit by bit I get healthier and stronger. I'd definitely recommend giving it a try if you are interested!”

“To pick up packages, park near the handicap spaces. The entrance is past the turnstile, walk straight down the walkway (past the loading bay) and go to the door marked A2. You’ll want the second door marked A4 which is a tiny, square waiting room. You give them your tracking number and they’ll hunt it down. Our FedEx guy loaded our tv into the car, super nice.”

“I've unfortunately had a lot of emergencies with one of my dogs since COVID started this year. It is really tough to wait in your car or at home for hours for someone to call and give you updates on your pet, but its the same situation everywhere right now and I don't fault the VCA for this. I think they are trying their best to keep up but I have been concerned once or twice about how urgently they are attending to my dog based on her condition. I've been told in the past that they will bypass the "line" in order to see/treat the very urgent cases asap but I worry that they can't always make that judgement without seeing/evaluating the pet first. Most of the staff is really nice, professional and accommodating. I have come across 2-3 techs that have been flat out rude to me on the phone, but thankfully this is not usually the case. When my dog was here for an extended stay, they let me come visit her (outside only) one day just to put my mind at ease. Usually if my dog has to spend the night I will get a picture texted to me before bed or in the morning with an update, which is greatly appreciated. Doesn't always happen right now since they are so busy though. The doctors seem very thorough in their work and I like that they usually present me with my options and let me choose what I'd like to do - ex. "we can run bloodwork and also do an ultrasound, but if the cost is too much I'd recommend starting with just the bloodwork and we'll go from there". Lately my dog has been seeing Dr. Cornetta who is very patient with me and my frantic, anxiety-ridden questions. I trust her expertise and appreciate that she's trying her best to keep me calm throughout a pretty scary diagnosis/treatment plan with my dog!”
