“I went to W. Bridgewater Life Care facility after a traumatic back surgery. If I said I was in pain it would be an understatement. Five days after my 2nd operation I was sent to W. Bridgewater Rehabilitation. I was *not* happy to be there for the first 5 days, but they won me over. The nurses were great and anticipated my needs so I was rarely , if ever in pain. The physical therapy team was friendly, well educated and helped up so I could walk, then build muscle in the PT room and finally climb a flight of stairs-and I was only there 30 days. I still have a road of recovery in front me, but nothing has been left to chance. I have a visiting nurse and PT about 3 times a week. I think it's amazing that that I left Mass General flat on my back & walked out of Life Care a month later The food was good and they bought me ice cream every afternoon:--) I cannot say enough good things about this clean , friendly and hard working facility, they were all amazing. “I am so grateful for Dr. Kate McDonough. After seeing many, many Dr.'s for over 18 months she was the first Dr. to actually listen to all of my symptoms and try to piece it all together. Every conventional test I had done prior to seeing Dr. Kate was coming back normal so every Dr. dismissed me to the next one in line. When I went to see Dr. Kate she carefully listened to all of my symptoms and ordered some more extensive tests. And what do you know, she found numerous things that we not functioning correctly in my body that were causing serious harm. I am still in the process of recovering right now but am so happy to have found Dr. Kate to have gotten a diagnosis and finally begin my recovery. “On the Monday of Labor Day weekend, my low back was WAY out – pretty much incapacitated. I called around with no luck of course, but Dr. Rogers called me back and agreed to see me. I was expecting to get ‘popped’ back in and be on my way in 15 minutes, but Dr. Rogers was very careful and thorough. He spent an hour of his day off asking questions and making sure he knew what was going on before performing any adjustment. The 2 hr ride back to NH would have been hell without his help!! Very impressed and grateful!”
