She creates workout routines that are specific to my goals and can increase the difficulty as I improve. We work through an app where we can communicate, but I can also track my progress. The workouts are loaded to a calendar by day and even include videos so I can pay close attention to form. If ever I have trouble, I can easily contact Lissa so we can talk through my difficulties. She is encouraging and motivating in a way that shows she truly cares about my health and fitness goals. “No Guilt. Just Pride! I am so happy to have given my uncle a comfortable and dignified life at Haven Lee Homes. I toured Haven Lee Homes prior to them opening several years ago and have since then recommended their home to anyone that is in search of a safe and home like environment for their loved ones. There are several things that you will notice when you first walk into the home and I would say that the greatest thing is that you will see is that it is indeed a HOME. You smell home cooked meals, comfortable and open living environments, and the warmth from every single staff member that works there. There is a lot of hesitation to move a loved one out of their home to a facility. They are so big and they don't really give you that "at home" feeling. In our case we needed this because my uncle had a brain injury and dementia so he was deeply confused when he was not in this environment. We had moved him from an independent living where he was living on the 7th floor and was segregated from anything happening outside his small one bedroom apartment. He thrived upon his move. He was willing to sit in the family room and spent a lot of time in the sunroom. He appreciated the fresh coffee every morning and all the meals that were provided. It was lovely. I (without hesitation) would recommend Haven Lee Homes to anyone looking to place their loved on in a family friendly environment where they have the freedom to live to their maximum capacity (and are encouraged to). I should also mention that it is EXTREMELY clean. There aren't any weird smells or any other questionable issues that you may expect from an assisted living. There was zero guilt in moving my uncle into this home. We were very confident in our decision and he was extremely happy. Thank you to all the staff who have now become friends/family. We truly appreciate you.”
