“Brenda has been my barber for 34 years and I am a lifelong client, despite having not lived in the area since 2003. I've lived in Lansing, Bowling Green (OH), and now in Ann Arbor. There isn't a distance too great for an appointment with Brenda. She remembers details about her clients and goes out of her way to make everyone feel welcome and appreciated. Pre-pandemic, the barbershop was a comfortable, jovial, environment suitable for adults and children. During the pandemic, Brenda has followed the COVID-19 guidelines of appointment only services, maintaining more than 6 feet between active chairs, limiting capacity, providing face masks and hand sanitizer, and disinfecting surfaces regularly. Even before the pandemic, Brenda maintained a very clean barbershop. Additionally, Brenda provides money for the parking meters, which is an added benefit for a Mack Avenue business. If you are looking for a barber, look no further than the Family Barbershop. It is clean, safe, and professional. You will become a lifelong client like me.”

“I was skeptical to try this Walgreens because of all the negative reviews but I thought I would give it a try because it's closest to my home. I actually had a pleasant experience. Every employee were quite polite. I came in with my 9month old and my 2yr old. Dropped off my child's prescriptions, they said it would be a 10-15 minute wait and they were filled less than 10 minutes. The pharmacy staff were quick, friendly, thorough and made sure I had plenty of syringes for my child's medicine. Definitely coming back.”

“The Super 8 in Antioch... So we checked in to a very sketchy motel...not from the Nashville area, saw some definite questionable situations. However, as we were staying there, the motel changed into New Ownership. I cannot stress this enough, first day, after our 'check out and check right back in', the new Manager *IMMEDIATELY* began squashing the shady stuff. Literally, we watched this Super 8 come to life. The rooms were clean (we rented 2). We were on the second floor and I trusted the walkway, room floors, and the shower. I know this place probably has some previously rough reviews...but. We saw the changes for the positive, right before our eyes. One of the Staff, Kural, provided us absolutely above and beyond exceptional service. I cannot possibly say enough excellent things about him! He truly treated us like his own family, and it meant the world. I would not hesitate to book another room at this motel. Even stating that it wasn't so great in the beginning...these folks are dedicated and eager to provide safe, clean lodging!”
