“I just wanted to clarify a previous review. Six days ago there was a review written by someone who used my name "Ashley Zukowski" but that was not me. This is my actual profile and I do not consent to the review left by the other person. I don't know why they used my name or where they got it from but I just wanted to address it. There are still many elderly folks living hear but they are kind people and I would never judge the age or any other factors of people who live in my building. The building is not outdated, I've lived in places before that were not nearly as nice. Yes it has safety measures still in place from when it was a senior living facility, but I don't understand what is wrong with that. I am very happy that this place has safety measures in place for people of all ages and who may face different disabilities (something that you don't find at many apartment complexes). In no way can I see this place being "creepy" or "sketchy". It is a very nice apartment complex with a diverse population of tenants, mostly comprised of families, seniors, and quiet young adults. I agree that pet rent is a thing that shouldn't exist (though I do understand pet deposits), but this isn't a critique of Phalen Shores but rather a ridiculous system that that has been in place all through St.Paul/Minneapolis and most other major cities in the U.S for a long time. Unfortunately I cannot reply to their review but if they see this, please do not use my name again. Thank you.”

“In the time that I did live here I never had any issues. The management and care takers were always on point and helpful. The tenants appear to be friendly and the kids seem to play out together without any issues. Parking is great! I think the only issue I had was moving in furniture; the hallways are a bit tight. But overall I was a happy camper.”

“I was a resident there two different times. They keep up the apartments very well. There aren't cracks in the wall and the cabinets are new. You get what you pay for. They don't have a lot of amenities but it is a good little community and I always felt safe. Also maintenance crew is very personable and prompt.”
