McMorrow Field

Address: 200 South St E, South St Paul, MN 55075, USA

Park

“Beautiful new amenities and upgraded features. Park resides next to a small airport where families can see small craft takeoffs and landings of modern and historical airplanes. Ample seating with parking lot and street side parking. Water fountain and port-a-jons available. Long walking path surrounding the soccer fields is a plus! (In response to a review: Baseball fields were relocated to brand new facilities at the Kaposia Landing recreation area off of Concord Ave.)”

Harrison Park

Address: 503 N Irving Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55405, USA

Park

“The pool seems quite small considering first, that it is on an elementary school property ( WHERE I'M SURE THAT AT LEAST 200 KIDS ATTEND ) so why not at least accommodate the pool for 30-40 kids. Second, there are many, many families with more than two kids per household in the neighborhood. I would definitely take my grandson back, he had big fun. It was overly crowded and many of the bigger kids were not mindful of the smaller kids.”

Morning Sun Park

Address: 31810 Mcguire Trail, Lindstrom, MN 55045, USA

Park

Golden Lake Park

Address: Circle Pines, MN 55014, USA

Park

“Nice quiet park next to Golden Lake. We have had group meetings here at the pavilion which are large and clean. My kids enjoy the large play structure. Park amenities: very large play area for all ages, tennis court, volleyball court, basketball hoop, pavilions, boat ramp, dock, kids beach, walking path and sidewalks, concessions.”

William O'Brien State Park

Address: 16821 O Brien Trail N, Marine on St Croix, MN 55047, USA

Park

“This is a solid state park for beautiful scenery around Lake Alice. People come here to camp, to canoe, to swim, to fish, and to hike. There is something for everyone to do. Besides, the view from the end of a trail around the lake is gorgeous. The Cascade Falls is also very closeby, so make sure you check it out at the same time when you are around the area.”

Franconia Sculpture Park

Address: 29836 St Croix Trail N, Shafer, MN 55074, USA

Museum Park

“We loved it! Plenty of parking. There is a visitor's center with restrooms and a little museum. The employees there were quite welcoming and helpful as we rented one of their golf carts. The Park is quite large, so give yourself plenty of time to walk around and check everything out. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, and you may want some bug spray. There is so much to look at, and it's all set in a beautiful place surrounded by nature. We spent a little over an hour there, but keep in mind that we were traveling by golf cart, not on foot. We definitely didn't see everything, and we're looking forward to returning in the future!”

Oak Bluff Park

Address: 14757 Bluebird St NW, Andover, MN 55304, USA

Park

“A beautiful place to stop and have a picnic lunch. Kids really enjoyed play set. The park was very well maintained and had a lot of green grass.”

Kohler Meadows Park

Address: 365 County Rd F E, Vadnais Heights, MN 55127, USA

Park

“Nice, clean park. We had a baseball game here. The dugout was not covered or protected from the elements. I know I would like to be aware of that after we just had a 100 degree day or if it's raining or chilly. It's a enclosed fence, kinda like a batting cage. So if it's a hot day and shade is needed maybe bring a large tarp for the top or a portable canopy to for the kiddos. We were lucky or was not to bad. The park was pretty full with soccer practice and kids on playground. Porta potty bathrooms.”

Lochness Park

Address: 11121 Lexington Ave NE, Blaine, MN 55449, USA

“This park is a combination of a disc golf course and a few walking trails. There's a trail around the lake, and two trails on the north side of varying lengths under a mile. The top loop opens up to a hillside and it's a good place to watch the sunset.”

Gro Tonka Park

Address: 17003 Prospect Pl, Wayzata, MN 55391, USA

“Such a nice quiet park tucked away behind Groveland school and cemetery. Large walking area and field with medow/pound. Playground has standard slides, ladders swings etc. and a train to play on.”

Northside Park

Address: 2200 Louisiana Ave S, St Louis Park, MN 55426, USA

Park

“A small quaint well serviced city park. Too small for any significant walking trails exclusive to the park itself. Potentially a good place to picnic with the family; weather permitting. There are 2 picnic shelters near the main baseball field for times when the weather changes spontaneously. Additionally, there is a fairly modest size playground for children. It should be noted this particular park serves a very special role for the surrounding community as home of the local little league baseball team.”

Minnesota Valley State Recreation Area

Address: 20550 Park Blvd, Jordan, MN 55352, USA

Park

“There's a path and it goes through the woods... Ok fine... the paths are very long and made for horses or other trail riding or long hikes. It looks like it's been mowed recently but there's multiple small trees that have recently fallen so be careful.”

Ojibway Park

Address: 2695 Ojibway Dr, Woodbury, MN 55125, USA

Park

“Great park in Woodbury! Lots of space to play for the kids. Big kid and little kid play areas.”

Hardwood Creek WMA

Address: Forest Lake, MN 55025, USA

Park

“Nice piece of woods”

Lake Rebecca Park Reserve

Address: 9831 Rebecca Park Trail, Rockford, MN 55373, USA

Park

“Great place for a large group. Lots of space for camping and activities including a couple of open buildings to get out of the elements and be protected. There are also picnic tables and grills. Neither of the buildings have electricity, so don’t plan on using crock pots or electric kettles. There is a pump to get water as well as toilets that have hand sanitizer. There are great trails for hiking, biking and horseback riding. Trains go by at night, so if that would bother you, bring earplugs. Sarah Creek campsite is a favorite with our group.”

Interstate State Park

Address: 307 Milltown Rd, Taylors Falls, MN 55084, USA

Campground Park Lodging

“I loved hiking here. We returned several times, enjoying the beauty and the challenges. This trail gives you plenty of opportunities to increase your exercise challenges while offering options for breaks. The views are breathtaking, and found many unique things to entertain ourselves en route. For example, we found an old pioneer school we visited halfway through the trail we selected, which was giving a summer session to kids. They let us observe and told us about the history. Also, there was a giant beach chair to climb on. You can opt to camp here - there's RV hookups even. We just parked and hiked, but it was my favorite of the places to do so. The trails were well maintained and the wildlife plentiful. I highly recommend this be added to your agenda if you are in the area!”

Valley View Park

Address: 5421 N Osgood Ave, Oak Park Heights, MN 55082, USA

Park

“Nice picnic shelter which you can reserve through submitting a firm to Oak Park Heights city government (check their website.) Only downside is that the shelter lights come on (presumably) by timer. On a cloudy and rainy day the shelter was pretty dark inside. Other than that, nice playgrounds and an interesting view coming down the hill towards the river with the prison right across the road.”

Group Sea Men

Address: 32155 Ivywood Trail, Chisago City, MN 55013, USA

Park

Oak Savanna Learning Center

Address: 16797 289th Ave NW, Zimmerman, MN 55398, USA

Park

“Some nice crushed gravel trails here. Enjoyed a peaceful walk late in the day and didn’t encounter anyone else out. There are a couple spots to watch the ducks & geese. Not sure if the bathrooms at the learning center are open year round, but it’s always a nice amenity.”

Woodland Trails Regional Park

Address: 20135 Elk Lake Rd NW, Elk River, MN 55330, USA

Park

“It has been about 5 years since I have last been here. Lots of great updates and additions. It is a great trail to visit on a hot day. Most of the trail is in shade with the right amount of sun. Bottom line great trail for biking , walking ,running with good parking and adequate bathrooms. Also see wildlife pretty often here.”

Wedgewood Park

Address: 211 Wedgewood Dr, Mahtomedi, MN 55115, USA

“The place is really has mostly everything you look for except the soccer field :). BTW there is no signs for some accessible ares”
