“Great for biking, walking, rollerblading, running. Paved path. Has a bathroom and a dog walk park(paid). Full loop is about 2.5 miles. Has lots of elevation changes as well as turns. Beautiful, well kept trail.”

“Nice walk with a lot of historical information on the plaques along the trail. I met some really nice people who were fishing. Only negative is the emo looking teenagers in the tunnel smoking cigarettes and using filthy language.”

“Love the park but wouldn't go in the water. The playground is super fun and it's pretty cool to watch birds of prey go fishing in the lake. I don't think I've ever seen the bathrooms open though, any time of day, during any season. Maybe that's a COVID thing though 🤷.”

“Love this trail! I visit several times a week from South St Paul for bike riding. Some of the pavement cracks in the “open field” areas between the gun range and the dirt road just before the new bathroom by trail run creek could be repaired. Those are some rough spots! Some potholes along the trail will catch you by surprise too - the bright white gravel they use to fill the holes only does so much. Watch out for all the tree nuts on the path during autumn too! Otherwise a very scenic and serene trail.”

“Love it. Nice shallow pool, small playground and lots of shade! Would recommend to anyone”

“First non-chlorinated public pool in North America. It uses a regeneration basin with plants and microbes to biologically filter and clean the water. Every 12 hours all 500,000 gallons cycle through. After closing each evening, robotic vacuums cleanse the pool bottom of algae. This is a beautifully landscaped natural pool and admission is free. It is a zero depth entry pool with a diving platform, a few lanes for lap swimming ($3), and a wading area. Bathrooms and lockers are available, as is an outdoor shower at poolside. Pool hours are afternoons and lifeguards are on duty. This is a gem in the heart of Minneapolis.”

“Great park! There is a dock with a bench. Various areas on the cement walking paths to get great family, graduation, and other photography shots all throughout the seasons. Pretty tucked around to really give that secluded feeling.”

“Fun for sledding! Safe ending. Flat out at the beginning. Includes a man-made jump in the middle for extra height! Me and my 9-ur old give two thumbs up! Plenty to park in the lot at the closed school.”

“The park itself is great. The refs calling the game suck, should be ashamed of themselves, and know with all their heart that they are going to hell! You don't mess with kids no matter how much your paid!”

“This is a city park, but it has been improved and maintained by the Neighbors of Alden Square. The gardens are lovingly cared for by the neighbors. The gazebo and the Little Free Library make it a great place to come to sit and read for a bit. We welcome dog owners who keep their pets on a leash and clean up. This is not an off-leash dog park.”

“Hidden gem near Cedar Lake. Really nice beach to sit and read. Pretty and short walk all the way around (and connects to cedar via crossing over the train tracks). Easy spots to put kayaks in as well and connect to Cedar.”
Address: 8095 Boulder Ridge Rd, Woodbury, MN 55125, USA
“A hidden gem, but a gem in the rough. There's a children's play area, mowed grass, and three paths in. That's it. There are no amenities. There's no porta-potty, no parking lot, no extensive trail system, no water fountain, I couldn't even find a sign containing the name of the park. It does border back yards, so there's little chance of children running out into the streets. The surrounding streets are a low traffic neighborhood. It is a pleasant park, and enjoyable to be in.”

“This is a great little park located right by a church which made me feel that much safer visiting. It has an eco-conscious splash pad that you have to power on every 10 minutes or so (a big plus, in my opinion). We spent most of our time at the splash pad. The water collects at about an inch. There are jets that spray water, a bucket that empties when full, and a "shower" that sprinkles water. There's a playground nearby and a swing set around the corner. Unfortunately, if you bring several kids who want to play in different areas, keeping an eye on all of them will be challenging. Those two areas are mulch-laden. From what I could see, there were no BBQ pits or picnic tables nearby, just some benches.”

“After attempting to visit several times and finding the gates locked, we were excited to go inside today and wander through the woods for a little bit. It was later in the day so we didn’t explore far but the woods felt magical. They reminded me of hiking through the backwaters of the Minnesota river. We will be back when we have more time!”

“This nature center is tucked in away in a neighborhood. It has an amazing indoor space to explore, an adorable playground and picnic area. There are walking and hiking trails to explore the grounds. They had a story stroll setup on our visit. Highly recommend for all families with kids of all ages!”

“Nice park. It's mostly for baseball, it looks like. There's a pokegym here, and I caught a Heatran in a raid. Awesome.”

“The High Bridge Park North is a cute little park at the foot of the High Bridge with a winding spiral around a stone sculpture. The atmosphere is creative and inspiring, and the large green chair within the park is fun for photos. My only critical feedback would be that there definitely needs to be a plaque or signage here! There is absolutely no information within the park on the history/meaning of the sculptures, or even the name of the park! 😂”

Address: Crow Hassen Trail Access, Rogers, MN 55374, USA
“I love this dog park! It has extensive walking trails through beautiful woods and prairie and following the Crow River. In the late summer and fall, when the river is low, there is a perfect beach area for the dogs to swim. They make efforts to maintain and improve the park with stairs, erosion prevention, and a toilet.”

“Well maintained grass to walk, walk w kids or dogs... (Pick up!!!). It's your dog, your responsibility. Nice play area for young kids. Ice rink, operational. Great for frisbee, b-ball, or walks.”

“We stayed at the Hunters Lodge AirBNB this past Saturday night, and we truly enjoyed ourselves! It may be listed at a Hunters Lodge, but it has delightful country touches, which gives it a family-friendly appeal. The beds were so cozy. We had extra blankets to snuggle with, plenty of pillows, beautiful views out, and the window. We really enjoyed seeing all of the owner's paintings around the space as well. The kids are already asking when we take another trip, and we absolutely will be back again!”

“This park has a really nice layout with a separate playground space for smalls labeled 2-5 and for bigger kids 5-12. It has a good mix of slides and climbing pieces as well as some swings, including a double swing shaped like a raft.”
