“Love it and so did my two toddlers. Happened to drive by it and had a bit of time so we stopped. It's super clean, equipment is nice for walk and working out on the path which is super nice as well! Lots of rope climbing for a bit older kids but my little ones had fun on all of it!”

“Downfall no restroom and a lot of geese bm everywhere. But its peaceful & nice walking trail. Fishing good except for the algee in it recently.”

“Very nice moderate hike (some uphill and more of a rough path). Simple loop trail with halfway shortcut. Can still hear the cars nearby though. Houses bordering the back sort of disruptive but could be helpful if there’s an emergency on the trail. Did not see any wildlife besides spiders. Dogs are allowed on trail”

“I have been very pleased in my dealings with Newcomer's White Chapel. I have unfortunately had to help coordinate two funerals recently and Jason (funeral director) and Ralph (graveside coordinator) have been a credit to their profession. Their kind words, direction, professionalism and attention to detail were very calming during a rough time.”

“This secluded grove at NE 66th St. and N. Prospect is a beautiful setting for quiet study or rest.”

“This is a very strange little park right at the moment. It is actually split into two parts by a grove of trees. The north part is very hard to access, as the only parking next to it is a fire station. It's a well-kept area but it is down a steep embankment from the road. The southern part of this park currently has a bike/hike trail on it and from what I understand this bike/hike trail will eventually connect the north and south sections and provide access to the bike/hike trail that runs north along Prospect up to HyVee / Walmart.”

“This cute little park sits in the middle of a quiet neighborhood. It is street parking. But the best part of this park was that all the equipment was toddler size. It was perfect for my 2 1/2 year old. Who normally gets pushed around by older children. It was clean and had a lot of fun toys. Great park!”

“Very neat to visit the Big Shoal Cemetary which used to be the only one in the area and the Atkins Johnson Farm. It is free and the special exhibit right now at the museum is parlor games. They have board games and stuff u can play from the 1800's and early 1900's. Very fun. Proof you can see with your own eyes too that 3-D came much earlier than recently. Very neat.”
