“Car was fine. However, once we started driving, noticed one tire was very low (per the dash indicator). Many cars cannot read tire pressures until the car is moving and up to a certain speed. Filled said tire and reported when I returned the car. I thought car rental agencies would do a cursory check of the car between rentals. Guess not. Lesson learned.”

“Okay, my friends, I rarely rate a place because I’m not a big negative guy and I don’t always remember to rate even when positive things happen. HOWEVER...I was so impressed with Avis, I had to write a review. Not only were they one of the best priced rentals around and they had some very nice people working their counters... But they also helped me out so much with a problem. I had left the rental place and I had noticed a little crack in the windshield. I talked super briefly with the attendant and I thought it was all good. Then I realized no note had been made about the crack when I brought back the car. The attendant was very nice and just had me fill out of quick form. No problem, right?! Well, then I got an email saying I’d be charged for the windshield. Actually, not surprised by this and simply emailed them telling them what happened. Within hours, a rep from Avis named Jessica had it all sorted out and I was not charged. Classy customer service, Avis! Well done! And a big thank you to Jessica for helping me out!”

The woman who was working Christmas Eve is a total sweet heart and patient AF:) Alamo is the best place to rent cars hands down- my husband travels a lot right now and has had terrible experiences with other companies. Alamo has consistently been great wherever we go in the US. Btw- loved the Mazda 6 we drove, really want one now.”
