“Young's is a neat, simple, and retro eatery tucked back behind a gas station in Valley Park. The prices are really, really cheap given that you are getting fresh, home-cooked grub. I loved the fried chicken and mashed potatoes, with only the green beans being slightly average. The two folks I was with also loved their chili dog and cheeseburger, both with fries. We didn't indulge in any ice cream but they have a full offering and I am sure it is delicious. Definitely a hole-in-the-wall, local joint worth checking out. Update: Young's has since become a favorite for our friends and my first 4-star review was insufficient. The catfish platter is amazing, and folks we go with continue to rave about the friend chicken, burgers, and yes, the ice cream!”

“I purchased a vehicle on a Wednesday, called that day to see if I needed to make an appointment. The gentleman that answered the phone stated there wouldn’t be any inspections on Thursday because he was off work and the only one that performs them. I called a few other Jiffy Lubes and the closest one was off of South Kingshighway. That is a little too far from me. I waited until Friday to take it in. I arrived at 10:00 am. The wait was 2.5 hrs when I checked in. This location only has ONE tech that performs inspections. I find it a little ridiculous. There were bays open and other techs standing around waiting for oil changes to come in. Why weren’t these techs trained to do inspections? I’m sure Thursday your store lost a lot of income because your store didn’t have a tech performing inspections. Not a lot of people would wait 2.5 hrs to get an inspection done. The techs were fantastic & professional. STEVE just needs a little help from management to find him some help with these inspections! GET THE MAN SOME HELP!”

“Dr. Ryan is an amazing Chiropractor. He does more than just pop your neck, he does lots of soft tissue work and exercises as well. I had back surgery in 1998 and have had daily back pain (mild to moderate typically) since I can remember. Thanks to him I can't remember the last time I've had to take any medicine for my back pain. Besides the soft tissue manipulation, I think the dry needling truly helped with my particular issue. I highly recommend him! His receptionist is super nice and easy to work with as well.”

“While I personally did not visit this florist, my husband did! Yesterday (Dec 15) was my birthday, and instead of a gift I asked for some flowers and dinner. This year, he chose to visit a local florist instead of a grocery store, and he chose Carol's Corner! He told me the shop is very cute, and the woman he worked with was extremely nice (especially when he felt awkward trying to get something day of). She worked with his price point and colors he knew I loved, and so quickly. The bouquet is so full and beautiful! I am absolutely in love. It makes our whole living room smell so nice! He is already planning on visiting Carol's Corner for bouquets in the future :)”

“My mother is currently living at Mother of Perpetual Help Assisted Living facility in the memory care unit. She was immediately welcomed and made to feel very comfortable from day one which is a great relief to me as her oldest child and power of attorney. The staff is caring, kind, attentive, and helpful both to my mom and to me. Cleanliness is a hallmark of the unit: individual rooms and common areas are always neat and clean. Residents are encouraged to engage in daily activities and reports of participation serve as documentation. All medical services are located in the building which has greatly reduced stress for both Mom and me. I was given all contact information when Mom moved in and encouraged to check in at any time. As for Mom, he sense of security has made her very happy. I couldn't ask for more.”
