“This is the best mental health practice I've ever been to. Dr. Villamontes is kind and compassionate, willing to listen, and open to allowing patients to take in active role in their care. Sandy, the counselor, is also amazing, and I think her methods are much more intelligent and effective than those of any other counselor I've ever met. The only drawback is that this is a low-budget operation inside of an old convent house; it's small, dark, and limited in amenities, not only in terms of the waiting room but also with their phone lines and scheduling. It can take months to get in the first time. Moreover, I find that their waiting list does not work; you have to call, get on the waiting list, then call again a month later and tell them you were already on the waiting list. Once you get in, however, it's great. It's a place that operates more as a charitable service than a business; they are there to help, not to make money.”

“Dr Freund is a great dentist. Very laid back...doesn't lecture you about not flossing ;) He and his staff have always been accommodating and friendly. Good music to listen to as well :) The office is sometimes hard to see, it's a small house on the east side of Big Bend. Parking can be tricky, but I always park in the north lot and never an issue. I've had several fillings and cleanings done, he does great job with the pain management!”

My only complaint is that the intersection the restaurant is near makes it hard to access if you are traveling in the wrong direction, but i suppose that's not the restaurant's fault, is it.”

Maureen has a wealth of knowledge about a wide array of healing modalities, she's honest , hard working, strong and fantastic at what she does. My first Thai Yoga Therapy experience with Maureen was about 5 years ago in which I pretty much floated out of the the session with a huge smile on my face. If you have the time and money, I recommend the Thai Yoga 7 day protocol. She is my go to person for any type of massage therapy. I'm a soon to be 63 yr old women and she has helped me regain mobility many times so that I can continue to BE ACTIVE!”
