“Small but well done visitors center. The displays were engaging to my kids and really informative. We also walked on the trails to see the pond amd aquarium where they are preserving an endangered desert fish and snail that were almost wiped out by invasive species brought in to the area. Beautiful oasis of mesquite trees and a running spring in the middle of a dry desert landscape. The center has informative displays about Why you find oases like this (geologically speaking) and information about native people that lived in the area.”

“What a great little walk for a nice day. The paths are pea gravel, so they're not muddy. A lot of teaching opportunities for the kids. Nicely built and well maintained. Restrooms, water fountains, and tables. I'm not sure if I would take a wheelchair on the trail, but in the center would be fine.”
