“One of the best places I have ever been to. Now I shop only there, or go there first. The prepared foods are extensive, creative, and quite delicious. Prepared seafoods, sandwiches, pastas and vegetables are my faves. The salad bar and Chinese food buffet are quite as good too. I stock up on seafood and veggies from the salad bar too. I have found the staff genuinely friendly and actually comforting. Likes to find something you need in alternative places in the store, if necessary. Be sure to check the Manager's Specials in the refrigerated compartments behind Registers #1 and #2 -- great discounts on the prepared foods and sandwiches, I mentioned above, as well freshly made breads and bakery items. The discounts are 30%, 50% or 70% off ! But they are items whose expiration dates are about to come due -- so remember to eat these foods very, very soon. (I know -- sometimes forgetting this, I've had the regrets of having to throw some out.) Enjoy.”

“Love this store located in Piscataway. The staff is super friendly and knows their products. Store is clean and organized. I'm there every week! If you have a diabetic kitty they have the right foods. Thanks to Matt the manager. The foods he recommended helped my cat's sugar level regulate and us now starting to go into remission. “A TRUE health food store, similar to George Street Co-op in New Brunswick, the ONLY two that I know of in central Jersey-nothing like GNC or any other vitamin store which basically sells GARBAGE and calls it health food (not too different from liquor stores, candy stores, local drug dealers, etc., who only exist to make a profit and don't really care about you or your health). Green Acres, by contrast, sells REAL and AFFORDABLE herbal medicine, such as goldenseal root extract, myrrh, foti, astragalus, American ginseng, pygeum, saw palmetto and many other medicinal herbs and extracts from them, most, if not all of which, are from plants-which cannot be patented as medicine by pharmaceutical companies in the U.S.-but are extensively used in Europe and throughout the rest of the world.”
