“Not a lot of parking at the marina where the trail entrance is but if you arrive early enough it's not an issue. There are some steep and rocky sections, definitely more intermediate to advanced trails with lots of variety. You'll be rewarded with great views of greenwood lake and surprise lake is great lunchtime stop Overall a good place for an avid hiker but if I had small children I'd leave them at home for this one. It should be manageable for teens/older kids”

“There's a lollipop trail about 3 miles long in the preserve. You may encounter bear, deer and other mammals. This trail has been removed from hiking maps and will eventually disappear. You'll have to find your own parking spot along the way, because there isn't any official one. This may be tedious so it just might be easier to hike in Norvin green near by.”

“The review title should be "Green". It is far away from main town of new Jersey and new York. But you won't feel boring because of the beautiful road. The road going through the forest ups and downs. Beside the road there is a lake. Inside the garden there are lot of beautiful trees and flowers. Some statues are available in the garden.”

There are benches And barbeque stands near the lake so that you can have a small picnic. It's not too crowded although I saw few cars in the parking lot.”
