“It was a sunny day, 55°, November 25th. I walked barefoot on the sand to connect to the energies of the Earth. The beach has a entrance fee in the summer, but in the off-season it's free. No swimming, though, when lifeguards aren't there.”

“This place is the BEST. One of the only places where little people are truly free to run, climb, jump, learn, and explore. We don't have to worry about enforcing inside voices, "no touching" signs, etc. Everybody can have fun here, but it's especially ideal for kids under age 10.”

“Beautiful park with wild flowers, a nice trail for running, and a beautiful view of Philly. It was formerly abandoned industrial space that has been redeemed with beautiful space that gives a neighborhood access to the river again. Also, a kayak launch!”

“Love walking through here. There are a lot of crossing paths, so you never need to go the same way twice. You can stay on flatter paths, or move up into the hill section. Great exploring for the kids.”

“This is one of the least traveled parks in Gloucester County. This is a great spot for migratory and also nesting birds. If you are lucky you will hear a Bobwhite, as this is a place they release them in an effort to reestablish them. It can be tough to navigate, but park in the lot and walk through though the grass field through the gate in the fence. Turn left and follow the fence to the left around the facility until you come out into an open area, where you will turn right. From here just follow the road around the preserve.”
