“Several years ago, we inherited an art collection. The collection included over five hundred pieces of artwork from both Eastern European and American artists. (Including but not limited to oils, drawings, lithographs, engravings, and original inks.) Since the collection was not catalogued, we had no idea how to organize it, who some of the artists were and the overall value. We met with Mark Lawson, and he agreed to take on the task of researching the artist for each piece, organizing the collection, and eventually auctioning it for us. He was able to identify each piece and arrange an auction in less than 6 months. We were impressed by the professionalism and attention to detail that he and his staff exhibited. We were also pleased with the first auction in which a majority of the artwork was sold. Subsequently he arranged a second auction in which additional pieces were sold. Finally, with our approval donated the remainder of the artwork to a local charity. We would gladly recommend Mark Lawsons Antiques to anyone seeking appraisals or someone to sell items.”

He is extremely knowledgeable in all things hockey and was able to answer all of my questions. He loaded our 35' RV and 16' toad and had us off of the narrow highway quickly. Not being from the area, Mick helped us find a place to have our rig serviced. They didn't take advantage of a bad situation, charged us fairly and kept our trailer till we could get it the next morning. I rarely recommend places but I will be singing these guys praises every time we pass through Albany.”
