“Rather large pool. Pool is always clean. Staff is great. The new pool parties are pretty cool, now able to have the pool privately for an hr. Typically not all that crowded. Little worrisome how many parents strictly depend on lifeguards, who are attentive but accidents happen. I am local but a friend said the price for out of village is cheap for the pass. Also have corn hole and swings.”

“Such a cool place only ten minutes from downtown Albany! A short trail from parking lot along the creek to follow for a cool view or swimming for dogs (or humans). Halfway through is a large fenced in dog park, little shade structure with picnic table and open grassy and woodshed area. Next to a community garden. Would love to come back again next time in the area. My dog had a blast :)”

“Wow! Such a beautiful State Park!! It was an enjoyable morning hike. There are a lot of trails to go explore! It was raining at times but you can still see the beautiful views. Photos and videos just don’t do justice! There are caves and waterfalls but maybe next time the waterfalls won’t be dried up. It’s very peaceful and all you can hear are the birds chirping. You may also come across some woodchucks like I did! Definitely come here and go explore and see the beautiful views!!”

“I volunteered at magic forest farm for a summer and have come back periodically to visit in all four seasons- it’s a beautiful place, and Joan and jay are awesome hosts/farmers, who have always focused on how they can sustainably build their farm and community. The farm has so much to offer- private camping grounds and alternative dwellings, friendly farm animals, miles of private trails and if you’re lucky enough to catch Joan or jay in between them working on one of their many projects they have a wealth of knowledge on organic and sustainable farming, mushroom foraging, eco friendly/alternative construction and much more. The magic forest farm is great and I would recommend a visit to anyone!”

“A National Treasure in the Heart of Albany this Amazing landmark mansion is an absolute delight! The gardens are open year round offering a beautiful green space for the urban surround. “What a beautiful park to visit on a cold blustery day. We parked our car close to the lake and walked down to a bridge that crosses the lake. The lake luckily was frozen and we took the risk of standing over it. Pretty cool photo ops with this activity. There are some beautiful houses nearby as well. I really love the historical architecture paired with the beauty of nature.”

“I always go to this park when I visit my cousins. It's nice and big. My dog and I can have a good walk in it. I seem to discover new things each time we go. The last time I discovered two monument in the park and took some photos. The bathroom was closed that time, which was Thanksgiving weekend, but in the summer it was open, and clean. It's less than a ten minute drive from my cousins house and it would probably be like 20 min walk from her house.”
