  I felt safe and comfortable in the salon, everything and everyone was following the proper covid protections. The women who greeted me made clear what steps I needed to take upon entry, but without it seeming clinical or rude, just caring. The masks and barriers did not impact the friendliness of the staff, I felt welcome and had the fun conversations you expect at the salon. Aida gave me a gorgeous bob while we chatted about vacations and paintings, and finally gave a clear answer on how often to cut my hair! I look forward to my next visit.

  My experience at Salon 718 was so great, relaxing, and clean especially during the pandemic. Sam did an amazing job adding dimensional highlights and giving my curly hair a nice trim. I’m very excited to come back soon for a gloss again!

  Had a wonderful haircut with Jenn today. She listened to me and understood the specific needs for my (fine) hair texture. I am so happy with the results. The salon itself was clean and I watched stations regularly sanitized. Feels like a safe space to go right now.

  Jeanine was fantastic! She understood what I was looking for and did a thorough job and executed it perfectly. It was a lengthy process, but was very worth it. Jeanine and the other girls were all so sweet.
  Also they’re practicing all the Covid rules and regulations well, so I felt very comfortable being there.

  I have been seeing Janine for about a year and... WOW! My hair has never looked better. She understands exactly what I want even when I have a hard time articulating it. I've had normal cuts and calligraphy cuts with her and am always thrilled with the results. The past few months I've been getting blonde balayage with her and several people have told me they can't believe it's a dye job because it looks so nice and natural! Can't forget to mention her warm and inviting personality on top of her amazing and thorough skillset, I don't want to go to anyone else in NYC. Pictures are from 2 different sessions!
