I worked with Grayson for an ankle injury from December-May and he tremendously helped me recover and regain my active lifestyle. At our first consultation, he thoroughly reviewed the doctor’s reports, evaluated injury and explained the injury fully with visuals on iPad to help guide me through the recovery process before we did anything else. He was very realistic about outcomes, timelines, and what to expect over the following weeks so that I was not discouraged. He also offered to follow up with my doctors to check on progress for a well-rounded approach. I felt very much a part of the process and supported by someone who demonstrated compassion and obvious experience to treat my injury.

Sessions were one on one with manual therapy combined with active stretches/exercises. This was not my first experience with physical therapy and by far the most personalized + helpful. Grayson is very encouraging and allows you to push to new limits each session when it sometimes seems unthinkable. He setup a customized PT program tailored exactly to my injury and weekly progress. He demonstrated all of the exercises and reviewed weekly to reinforce proper technique to target injury.

Grayson is extremely knowledgeable with a focus towards treating the injury as well as muscle groups around it to prevent future injuries. His Movement Vault videos are a great resource post recovery. If you follow his program, you will see results.

Grayson maintained an accommodating schedule with a convenient location in Williamsburg, BK and was diligent about confirming sessions or rescheduling if needed. Sessions took place in a clean and organized facility with good selection of music to make these sessions feel more relaxed. Overall, Grayson is an extremely, smart, funny, engaging and caring PT who shows a true passion for his field. Any patient recovering from an injury would be lucky to have Grayson as their PT. I’m grateful to have worked with him for a comprehensive recovery experience and would not hesitate to recommend him.

I met Grayson after injuring my back. At the time I was in a lot of pain and could barely move. After our first few sessions I felt much better and my range of motion had increased significantly. He takes a lot of time to understand your past injury history and create a plan that works to improve the body as a whole. Each session we incorporated new exercises that helped me progress, he pays a lot of attention to form and correct movement patterns which was very valuable to me. The most important takeaway from working with Grayson was understanding the importance of mobility vs flexibility, there is a big difference and it’s something you need to work on every day. I’ve made many of the routines that Grayson helped me learn into daily habits and it has helped me with my workouts but more importantly the ability to move with out pain. I would highly recommend seeing Grayson if you have an injury, are looking to improve your workouts, or just generally are seeking ways to increase your mobility.

Grayson is a great listener and really took the time to understand my issues. I had been having back and hip pain for almost a year. After seeing Grayson, I did the exercises he prescribed for two weeks and the pain was 90% gone. I have been able to return to lifting sooner than I thought. I highly recommend him.

I met Grayson when he did a workshop at my gym. He would go on to start working with one of the owners. It was after one of their sessions that I asked him a few questions & he volunteered to look some of my movements. That few minutes of inspection and chatting prompted me to schedule a movement assessment and tissue work. I didn't have a specific injury, but was looking to do some prehab, and squatting movements have long been a weakness of mine because of mobility limitations. Grayson is very attentive & engaging. His techniques have helped to increase range of motion which lasts over time, he gave me very detailed homework to do on my own. I've seen PRs in my overhead & front squats since I first started seeing him, but beyond just putting more weight on the bar, I feel more comfortable getting into the positions I need to be in, so I'm able to complete larger sets for volume. It's an ongoing process, and will certainly take time, glad that I have such a passionate & involved practitioner in my corner.

Excellent. Here you can find an active, cognitive approach to not only restoring, but improving your mobility. There's the actual physical techniques that are used on your tissue, but what is added is explanation and understanding of how your body and nervous system work, which can be invaluably applied to your lifestyle. Don't get me wrong - you don't get to lay back and watch your body heal (well, actually, the sessions certainly seem that way) - you'll have to do your homework in the form of the carefully curated mobility regimen they set up for you. But if you do the work and apply the knowledge, you'll get the same fantastic results I did. My injury led to a frozen shoulder - after a year of struggling with it, I started seeing Lux and they brought it back to 100%. Couldn't recommend more.
