“As you can tell from previous reviews they tend to run hot and cold on the quality of their food but tonight they were on fire, the boneless wings were tender and nicely sauced, the chips, wedge fries and onion rings were also very good. The big surprise was the fried shrimp crisp, tender and the mango fire sauce is the perfect compliment. I just want to add we have been customers since the beginning and I can only remember a hand full of times, out of the dozens of visits , that we weren’t completely satisfied.”

Side note: everyone at the table got the same thing except for the kids. It was fairly empty when I visited, which was a Sunday evening. “Came here after a spending some hours at Jones Beach. Love it here. If you sit outdoors you get a great view. We had a variety of different appetizers and they were wonderful. They have a variety of cocktails that sound good but I had a draft and Jack Daniel's on the rocks. The drink was pricey $15 compared to the second highest I've paid which is $12 at Dorlan's in the Seaport. I didn't mind because the vibe and the view is outstanding. There was a band playing some good tunes. Watching the boats and jet skis going by plus seeing the seagulls flying was a wonderful addition. The crowd is diverse and friendly. The service is a little slow but it is a big place so it's understandable. Definitely want to go back.”

“New York is quickly becoming one of my favorite food cities. I caught this place on my way out of Long Island and they didn't disappoint. Well, a little because I came for the Rasta Pasta and they weren't selling it that day. Nonetheless, I ordered the oxtails and they were so tender and well seasoned. I wish I had more time to try the rest of their menu but I had a flight to catch. Their price was higher than Jamaican Dutch Pot but good food is good food. It was a great sized portion as well. Long Island has been good to me. I will be back.”

Greeted by the manager, informed him that we wanted to place a to-go order, he was kind enough to offer us a table. He took the time to explain the specials and asked if we had questions. That was great customer service! The atmosphere was chill with really cool Halloween decorations, the music was good, the to-go order taker’s service needs improvement but the food… the Catfish & Cod Baskets with Cajun fries were delicious🤩. Great value for the money. There’s a full bar that gives off a sports bar vibe, ample seating in the dining room and lots of parking. Highly recommend!”

I ask for my rice darker brown for hubby and they are hospitalized to oblige. I ask for no onions and add scallions instead, no problem. Lomein, rice and sweet and sour chicken are the best. Chicken and broccoli with snow peas added is so yummy. Wonderful staff and owners.”
