Manhattan New York Temple

Feel immense peace in this temple. It’s so quiet inside — you can’t hear the busy city sounds outside. The volunteers working here are incredibly nice. Do what you need to do to come in here. Or swing by it and view it from the outside. It’s a cool building!

The Manhattan Temple is beautiful! It was on the smaller side since I’m used to all the big temples in Utah but It was equally beautiful and the temple security and workers were so kind and loving! We met temple workers which were a set of Senior missionaries from Boise Idaho that helped us and were so nice!!! Along with Brother and Sister Weist which were also temple workers and had the sweetest and most inviting spirit!!!wr came here with our daughter for service work and enjoyed the beautiful building and spirit of the Savior. After we went upstairs because we heard there were beautiful paintings and I didn’t realize that the church chapel was upstairs. Never seen that’s before above a temple but it looked just like the chapel buildings back at home in Utah. It has a great layout and Everything they needed. Inside this building was also a family history area. I was so surprised to see how much they were able to build at that location. The Temple is built in a beautiful location close to Central Park and like always the temple grounds are well kept. Wish I could have attended the Sunday services but was so glad to have attended the temple with my family. Loves this place and will visit again if return to NYC!

Security guard was so kind and let us stash our things for a little while. We love it here!

The silence when you go through the doors is maybe the best thing about it. Incredible. And also the temple, so way holy and nice.
