Calm & relaxing place to get a hearty and delicious meal. Ginger duck was rich and flavorful, the curry sauce the roti came with was AMAZING I would eat it by itself. The bean sprouts with salted fish complimented the main dish well because of the pleasant light taste and crunchyness contrast with the soft meat. Honey lime drink was tart and lightly sweet. The atmosphere is very cozy and the servers were courteous. They started out asking about allergies which was very considerate. Great place for a fancy & filling meal ♡
Cash only! No reservations needed - space is huge and wait is at most 5-10min on weekday dinner time.
Ordered Hainan chicken, shrimp with okra, chicken feet in clay pot, and the rib soup. I like all the dishes and each one is uniquely flavored. This place is definitely for everyone who's either new or tried Malaysian food before. They also have Chinese food too on their menu.
Great selection of food! But definitely not for dating as it's too noisy inside.
We were seated very quickly and the place was busy for a Sunday evening! If you’re in the mood for comfort food and you know what you want I think you’ll love it! If you’re trying new flavors it’s such a big menu we got distracted. Fried buns with condensed milk was delicious. Seafood noodles also great. Beware shrimp puffs are wrapped in bacon and the roti canai curry can have meat depending on the day. Dessert was not too sweet.
Still thinking of this delicious Malay food! This spot is also on the Michelin guide and it’s definitely well-deserved 👏🏽
Spread I tried:
🍽 Singapore rice noodles
🍽 crispy vegetarian duck
🍽 roti parota
🍽 mixed vegetables curry
All the dishes were so flavorful and spicy. My fave was crispy vegetarian duck it was chewy and totally not what I expected 🤩. This is a no frills restaurant portion sizes are huge and everything is reasonably priced .
Really stellar Malaysian place. My Malaysian friend brought me here and said this is one of the best Malaysian places he has been to in the states. Dishes were very authentic and had the correct profile of spices and flavor profile. They didn’t cheap out on the shrimp paste and fish sauce 😂. Highly recommend it you are looking for that twist on what you would consider typical Chinese food. Will definitely be back.
