Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit New York City

I was not sure what to expect, but it certainly blew away any ideas I had on how they would present this exhibit. It was so well done and we felt it was such a peaceful experience. The technology used to deliver the paintings was incredible... they took on their life right in front of me. A delight for the eyes!

Like falling into a rabbit hole and finding Wonderland. I so appreciated the high art conceptual interpretation of this legendary creative master. From the luscious video creation blending with the soundtrack ( Thom Yorke anyone?) and the sophistication of the mirrored sets by David Korins Design, this was a creative escape like no other. I wandered from room to room as if in a lucid dream.

I suggest going in time at your timed entry ticket time to see the show from the top. Then linger after the main show is complete, get a cocktail and then stay for the other video art show that follows. Then Van Gogh will start again. I stayed for 3 cycles with friends! It was fantastic.

My wife and I gave each other the Van Gogh Experience as a gift. It was an absolutely beautiful production of Art imitating Art through the beauty of Van Gogh’s palate. The synchronization of the visual and audio was outstanding. We viewed the production a minimum of 3 times while not walking and then at least once more as we moved through the rooms. We thoroughly loved the show!

Absolutely mesmerizing experience with a great visual treat for your eyes with amazing music in the background. Very strongly recommend.

They also have a nice cafe, parking and great gift shop (but pricey for single items but bundle offers are there) inside. They also check vaccination status. Book tickets at least a few days in advance.

Van Gogh's paintings were projected as a video on to all 4 walls and the floor and the transitions were smooth and really good to watch. The entire presentation lasts for about 30-35 minutes but is worth seeing at least twice.

Show was great, well done and very impressive! It’s done with multiple projectors on walls and floor with musical accompaniment. Amazing what technology can do! It’s 35 minutes long and a loop that plays continuous and plays the same in the three different rooms. Some benches to sit on in the larger room. Don’t miss going up on the viewing platform in the large room to really feel the 3D effect. People below sitting on chairs actually look like they are part of the artwork. Lots of VanGogh’s artwork is shown throughout the show. FYI, The only aggravating part is their parking lot which is $42 !! It’s more than I paid to see the show!
