“I was admitted to Elderwood on October 11 for OT and PT after fracturing my right fibula and tibia and breaking my ankle. Two weeks later I am heading home to resume in patient therapy. ALL of the staff at Elderwood from custodians, nurse's aides, social workers, the business office, dieticians, nurses, doctor and OT and PT therapists were outstanding! Having to overcome an injury as I sustained is hard enough, but the absolute commitment, compassion, care and dedication of the staff, made me fight all the harder. Thank you to the staff of the North Wing. Your kindness and concern will always be remembered. To all of the OT and PT staff - thank you for pushing me to be the best version of myself I could be, given the circumstances. The laughter, coffee and conversation made the therapy much more palatable :) I would definitely recommend Elderwood to anyone who requires after surgery, therapy!”
