“Dog park is a wide open space my dog loves running about the hillside. Perfect use of space. Two sides, unfortunately some small dog owners allow dogs in large dog side & they proceed to badger, bark, bite bigger dogs w/o removal. Wish they'd be smarter and kinder about this. But when no one else is there, it's fantastic!”

“Mid quality stuff to climb on, but an extra star because its rarely busy and most importantly, might be the only park around that has excellent shade. On a hot sunny day this is your only choice.”

“This was an awesome park. We where here touring all of the Jehovah's Witness facilities. Close to many of them. The park has huge lots. We have a 40 foot with 4 pop outs and still plenty of room on the side. Their laundry room is immaculate and the staff are so welcoming. Would stay here again in a heartbeat! Happy travels everyone!”

“It's ok my son likes it. They should put mulch down and fill in the holes caused by the children's feet. They also need to spray for the bees that have inhabited the bleachers as well as fix the walking path”

“It was my 1st time attempting to play disk golf. And I ended up loving it! One of the employees of the field/park came up to us and just started a conversation with my friend and I. Very welcoming. Will definitely be back with my own disks to play a rematch vs my buddies.”

“Beautiful flat walking trail around marsh land where migratory birds gather. Bald eagles nest at the preserve and the Appalachian Trail cuts through. There's a small parking area and a flat elevated area to set up a tripod for your or camera or spotting lenses.”

“I highly recommend hiking the Popolopen Torne trail, popularly known as "Trail of the Fallen". You'll find the trail head at the information kiosk in Fort Montgomery directly across from the small parking space. For the average hiker, it will take you about 30 minutes to reach the summit. Make sure to wear grippy trail shoes or hiking boots. In the fall, hiking boots make a huge difference because the rocks and little crevices are hidden by all the leaves and makes navigating the floor of the forest a little more tricky. Toward the top, there is a steep section outfitted with ropes to help. During the colder months, it is partially covered in ice, so please be careful! Once at the top, you'll find some peaceful areas to rest and photograph, and the 360 degree views are insanely gorgeous!. Please respect the memorial site as many come to honor those who have served and who are still serving. Consider carrying a "memorial- rock" or momento to share and honor someone who has made the ultimate sacrifice. We've taken our lab hiking up here with no issues, and have seeing both young and old do this hike. Enjoy!”

“Public soccer field, baseball diamonds, and occasionally the setting for several Village of Greenwood Lake community recreational events (Halloween haunted trail, summer family festivals with vendors, food, etc). Sometimes people fly drones here when it's not in use.”

“high point was the low point of this hike.. I beat it better in the winter when the trees have less leaves to block your view. Still nice it was just a let down. The trial about half a mile before it marked in blue has a better view.”

“Strenuous but beautiful hike. It’s a 1000 ft ascent to Perkins memorial tower for breathtaking views of the valley. You may also spot Manhattan skyline from there. My favorite trail at Bear Mountain.”
