“Unfortunate experience in foul weather here - but still an absolutely gorgeous scenic area with massive unearthed portions of bedrock and a lush forest. In the warmer months definitely prep with bugspray and glasses as the insects can get dense on the portion of the hike closer to the parking lot. Aside from that, incredible experience. Not too busy. Tons to do in the surrounding area as well.”

“Beautiful trails! Well balanced. Climbs are not too hard. There are a few very nicely flowing downhill sections. Trails are well maintained and have a few nice built elements. The bottom line - I advice to everyone to come and see it by him/herself!”

“Autumn was a favorite theme of Cropsey, The striking colors, brilliance of the sky, and glorious reflection in the water make one feel glad to be alive, even when removed in time and space from the lone sojourner in the scene.”

“Great little park. Beautiful views and small swimming area. Picnic tables are there of need be. There are rates for locals and visitors. Very nicely roped off areas for water depth which ia great for small children. Lifeguards are there as well. There is also a bathroom in the parking lot.”

“Beautiful trails with so many different route options! Easy access from the Tuxedo train station. Worthwhile to get a map (there’s a booth at the farmer’s market every Saturday) since there are so many different trails that crisscross, though they are pretty well marked. Make sure to bring in enough water because the water sources are not always reliable. Enjoy your hike!”

“Awesome quick little one mile trail to get u from the village of Greenwood lake up to the Appalachian trial...if u wake a left and start heading south about a 10 min hike down and there is a clearing at the top of the mountain where u can overlook almost the entire lake....great spot”

“Forgot to take a picture but it's a cool idea of where several trails lead together. Bring a compass because several areas are marked with the same colors and you might end up turned around or going down the wrong trail (as I did)”
