“Very helpful staff. I needed to renew my id twice already and they did a great job. Keep in mind that you need an appointment for id services due to current circumstances but it's literally in and out.”

“After experiencing very dismissive doctors, it was so refreshing and lovely to walk into this health center and have people who are so helpful and care about all their patients. Everyone here is patient with me, and will answer each and every question I have. For the referrals I've received, some of the doctors will push me off several months into the future when I'm trying to make an appointment, but they are willing to help you get an earlier appointment if this happens. They tell me, if anyone gives you any issues, we will take care of it. I've even witnessed the staff help a lady to her car while carrying her stuff. If you're hesitant on switching to USFHP for the Staten Island area, I would say not to hesitate at all. Honestly, this is the best experience with health care I've ever received in my life.”

“The Visitor Center is the best way to start your visit to Fort Wadsworth. There is a museum which provides a great overview of the historic military base and fortifications and there are park rangers on staff who can point out all the best things to see in the park. Definitely worth your time. - Be advised: this visitor center is open seasonally (spring, summer, and fall) and is usually closed in the winter. Call ahead!”

“We really enjoyed our stay at the Navy Lodge on Staten Island. The rooms are spacious with two queen beds and accommodations are very nice with a large fridge and kitchenette. They also serve cereal, bagels and pastries for breakfast. Also coffee and juice. The staff is wonderful! Located inside the National Park on Fort Wadsworth, which is also an active Coast Guard base, the Navy lodge is one of the best kept secrets for lodging in NYC. We took bus 51 to and from the Staten Island Ferry each day. We met the nicest people and saved at least $1,000 by staying here for a week instead of Manhattan. There is plenty to do if you want a break from the city, you will find the peacefulness and history of the National Park pulls you in.”
